Training in active and blended learning

On March 7-11, 2016, 40 teachers from Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria will come to Maastricht to take part in the training "Active and blended leaning in higher education", organised by Maastricht University. This training will take place within the framework of the project "Bridging Innovations, Health and Societies: Educational capacity building in the Eastern European Neighbouring Areas (BIHSENA)" co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

The training will enhance capacity of partner universities to use active, interdisciplinary and blended modes of education, nessesary for development of new educational opportunities in the field of health, innovations and society. Maastricht University, known for its Problem-Based Learning model and integrated approaches to education and research, has extensive expertise in this area. During the training special attention will be given to ways of translating teaching approaches and methodologies into different socio-cultural contexts.
