Work Package 1 (WP1) will take place during the 1st year of the BIHSENA project and will establish a basis for the subsequent development of new educational programmes through providing teaching staff from partner universities in Russia and Ukraine with advanced English-language training, necessary pedagogical and technical skills (also for technical staff) and in-depth background in the subject area of health, innovations and society.
The aims of the WP1 are as follows:
- Provide advanced English-language training to the teaching staff from the partner universities in Russia and Ukraine
- Ensure that the teaching staff from the partner universities in Russia and Ukraine possess working knowledge of student-centred approaches in higher education
- Ensure that the teaching staff from the partner universities in Russia and Ukraine have knowledge and practical experience of using ICT in education and local technical staff is prepared to support them
- Provide teaching staff with in-depth knowledge of the state-of-the art insights and approaches in the subject area of health, innovations and society and facilitate active exchange of knowledge among partners and tailoring of the educational content to local needs and contexts.
